TRAK Architecture FrameworkTRAK Users
The following, as we 'trak' them down, are a list of projects actively using TRAK in their architectural modelling:-
- London Underground. Sub Surface Upgrade Programme. A programme to replace rolling stock and signalling on the Circle, District, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan lines. This is the largest single project on the underground.
- Birmingham University. Centre for Railway Research & Education. InfraGuidER. European project which aims to harmonise requirements and guidelines for the environmental management of railway infrastructure. TRAK is being used as a modelling framework for capturing knowledge in a standard format from many different rail sources. Forum post.
- Rail Safety Standards Board (RSSB). Systems Engineering and Assessment (SEA) Ltd. have created a functional model of UK rail. Discussions are taking place with a view to making this model available as ope source.
